CEO Express 9 -- this site uses the 80-20 rule to show you the 20% of the internet that has 80% of the net's usefulness. A great home page, full of links to other sites. Big time saver.

Maho Bay Stanley Selengut's premiere resorts on St. John's Island, US Virgin Islands. These are eco-lodges and estates, that are perched on hillsides to allow maxiumum appreciation of the environment. Maho Bay Camps, Harmony Resort, Estate Concordia, Concordia Eco-tents. Recreation and education combined. A visual web site, enjoy it.

eBAY Auction East Bay Live Auction. This is one of the best of the new and exciting internet concept of selling hard to find, or collectable things, through live bidding. The site is so well designed, and works so well (I have used it many times, and won several small auctions), that it has enjoyed 26 million on-line bids since it went on the air, selling about 6 million items. Bargains, you bet. But fun, that too. Business Week magazine says this might be one of the best uses of the net -- to sell "one of a kind" and "small lots" where conventional channels of distribution are too costly.

Currency Translation(10) This is a top notch site, you put in the dollar amount (or use the "1" they have pre-entered) and choose the currency "from and to". Instant answer!! This works well, is free, and of course is up to date with the current exchange rates.

TV Guide(10) The on-line version of the popular grocery store check-out line guide book. This one has a great deal of information, easier to read than the print version, and easier to search for what you want to see (and the times/channels). So much to see, check it out.

I'on Village A new planned community in South Carolina at Mount Pleasant. Developed by Vince Graham, and his talented team (founders of New Point in Beaufort). This promises to be one of the most significent "New Traditional Communities" ever built, and is attracting US wide interest. A mixed use project, a true community, that encourages walking and places appropriate public facilities (ball fields, churches, neighborhood shopping) in walking distance. I'on Village -- More information

Tommy's Live Cams This could be THE most interesting site on the web. What is a Live Cam? It is a camera that takes periodic pictures of whatever it is pointed to, and puts them on the web site, so you can look at the view. Try clicking on the "Earth Viewer" choice, then choose "satellite in Earth orbit". Then go down to the "view earth from Satellite" button and click. What you will see is a near real-time view of the earth from one of the many satellites that do this kind of thing. It is amazingly clear, and you can see lights on in the "night" areas of the Earth, and the exact line as the shadow of night creeps over the US. There's much more on this site. Have fun!

Bill Gates Wealth Clock Bill Gates Wealth Clock. Check to see how rich he is, as of 5 minutes ago, and what your personal contribution was, up to that point.

Humor - Murphy's Laws This is a long list, but is all text and loads fast. Includes Murphy's corollaries, and interdisaplinary laws. (Parental discretion advised).

Computer Virus Myths A site that tells a great deal about some of the virus scares which are just myths. It is very comprehensive, with much solid information, and is a commercial-free site as well.

Personal Reminder System Personal Calender and reminder, all free. Let the web help you remember important dates.

Consultant The home page of Merrifield Consulting. Bruce Merrifield is on the cutting edge of the distribution industry, and has clients in many states. He is interested in electronic commerce, and has a state of the art web site. He posts his very valuable newsletters on the web site, so it is a great resource for what's happening in the world of distribution. This could be one of the best free resources on the entire WWW for those seriously interested in improving their business skills.

Dewees Island One of the most unique places on the planet. An island off the coast of South Carolina that is being developed with extraordinary sensitivity to the environment. Access only by ferry, only electric carts for transportation. Two acre lots, and a unique lifestyle only 20 minutes from Charleston (plus a pleasant double decker ferry ride). The island is the site of Harmony House, a new home that will be featured on the cover (with a 10 to 12 page story inside) of the October Issue of HOME magazine. The Boss is a partner in the development of the Harmony House, which features Peachtree windows and doors, and extraordinary architecture by the Spartina Group of Charleston, SC, winner of many Prism awards for design excellence.

Selling Power (3) Some tips and helpful things about professional selling.

Finnish-Russian Border Crossing (3) One of the Boss' first web-cam discoveries. Due to the midnight sun, this camera can photograph almost 24 hours a day. Snow, human and vehicle traffic visible. If you like this kind of thing don't miss the other www site for cams on another Boozer Lumber link icon. The cam shots from satellites in earth orbit are spectacular.

Trendy Magic This is a great site, with many mind tricks you can play on line, the first link under this one brings you some card tricks which are old, but nicely done. Other links offer new magic games. Fun for all ages.

Missing Money (10) This site is graded "A" because it works, it's useful and its free! It is also endorsed by several states as the on-line process to get unclaimed money and refunds to the rightful owners. Go to this site, put in your name, and it will quickly search for any refunds or other missing money due to you. In several personal searches I discovered $750 and recovered it (for a company employee). This site will search for companies or individuals. Another similar site is called Found Money This site appears to do the same thing, but is "pay for view", and thus seems to be less attractive than the Missing Money site.

Restaurant Row This clever site allows you to put in your zip code and read about 30 to 50 restaurants in the general area. I was impressed at the list for my personal zip code, it covered all the better known places, and the reviews were interesting. It would be a major help for someone visiting the area. The site also gives phone numbers and driving directions to each listed restaurant. It claims to be the World's Largest Dining Guide. It could be true.

CORRECT TIME, Atomic Clock This is the correct "Eastern Standard Time", but you can click to get the time in any other time zone. This public service is cooperatively provided by the two time agencies of United States: a Dept of Commerce, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and its military counterpart, the U. S. Naval Observatory (USNO). Readings from the clocks of these agencies contribute to world time, called Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). The time maintained by both agencies should never differ by more than 0.0000001 seconds from UTC.
